Independent lab tests prove new ZYTREL XP® kills 99.99% of germs on contact and helps keep killing germs for up to 4 hours.
Columbia University invented and patented a technology that created a gel-like substance that acted as a coating, had an anti-irritant effect, and inhibited transmission of infectious disease.
In 2009, Columbia University’s patented technology was utilized to create ZYTREL XP, the first extended protection hand sanitizer and foaming hand cleanser. Unlike the alcohol-based sanitizers introduced in the 1980s that only kill germs for about 15 seconds, this new process helps protect against germs for up to 4 hours.
Independent lab tests from Pace University’s Haskins Lab proved ZYTREL XP sanitizers were unlike any germ-killing agent on the market:
“No comparable product is capable of providing the degree of the long term protection exhibited by the ZYTREL XP hand sanitizers.”
Another independent lab test from Loricon Testing Service confirmed that:
“Zytrel XP killed more that 99% of germs and bacteria and had a residual efficacy for up to 4 hours.”
